Anger

anger is
the natural reaction to perceived injustice
it hath many names
frustration, upset, annoyance
but none need violence
none need to act out to be voiced
an angry whisper is better heard
than a explosive scream
with patience and time
the soft flowing water
cuts a deeper channel in the rock
than a stick of dynamite
I did not understand
that I could voice my feelings
reflect my emotions
without the drama and tension
that accompanies them
how such a simple reasonable fact
could have escaped my attention
is embarrassing
but even shame can be simply stated
and relieved
